Interesting Hypocrisy from Ms Pelosi...no mention of the Hitler Signs being used by the protesters, or the uncivil behavior of the protester, or the in excusable behavior of going to politicians' homes to protest which is nothing more than a veiled threat.....If these were Republicans or Tea Party folks doing the same thing you can be certain that old Nancy would be SCREAMING foul.....What a HYPOCRITE!
It's Ok for her to use her party's dominance to ram through legislation that the vast majority of America did NOT want (ie Stimulus, Obamacare, Financial Reform), but they can't pass legislation in Wisconsin that the majority of the voters voted for....Interesting!...and again Hypocritical!
Nancy Pelosi.....Pelosi backs Wisconsin protesters
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi came out strongly in support of Wisconsin teachers and students who are protesting Gov. Scott Walker’s proposal to public employees of collective bargaining rights.
Pelosi told reporters Friday that the protests are “an extraordinary show of democracy in action.”
“Wisconsin's workers, teachers and public servants must have a seat at the table to fight for a safe workplace,” she said. “I stand in solidarity with the Wisconsin workers fighting for their rights, especially for all the students and young people leading the charge.”
